Superstition - Witches Ball

Witches balls have been hung in cottage windows for centuries to ward off evil spirits.  Legends say that evil spirits are attracted to the beauty of the ball and upon touching its surface are pulled inside and become trapped, thus protecting the home from any harm.  We were given this witches ball when we moved into our house, over 25 years ago, and so far it's been doing a good job!  I couldn't resist adding a colour version in extras as it's so pretty.
