Red Poppy

Worked in the garden all morning and the till mid afternoon got a  lot of jobs done including putting out the rest of the seedlings and planting a few salad seeds. We had our first cucumber for lunch today.

The best news for today is that I received my new drivers  licence for another three years, quite a relief as we are going away again at the end of the week
When I finished in the garden I went for a walk as far as the river very few people around. This lovely red poppy is growing out of some brick rubble at the farm entrance 
It was sunny fist thing but soon clouded over and just started to rain cool for the time of year
