Mono Monday....Superstition

There's a lot of superstition over the luck that a horseshoe can bring, depending on which way up it is placed....

I acquired mine on a coach trip to Scotland several years ago, when we visited Gretna Green on the way to the Trossachs. It has seven holes, and for some reason, I do believe it brings good luck....superstition, I know!!
A dull, breezy day, and I felt decidedly chilly on my walk back from meeting friends this morning for coffee. I spent an hour after lunch pulling out handfuls of poppy seed heads, as they are turning brown, and I do not want them seeding ....just have to dig all the roots out now....another day!!
