House Sparrow ..

...another new species visiting my bird feeders.  I don't know why I have seen so many new species visiting my garden feeders recently .  I live on the edge of a wooded glen and I contribute to the BTO garden Birdwatch count each week,, which is why I know when a new species has arrived.  I usually have to look at my bird book to recognise the name of new birds as I am not an expert.  When I began my count a few years ago I spotted 15 species and now I am recording 21 different birds.
