My son Kári in Szczyrk, Poland

We continued our weekend in Reykjavík today, visiting my brother Bjössi's family in Grafarholt (with the added surprice of meeting my cousin Michael on a stopover from U.S.A to Denmark) and also celebrating my husband's birthday with a nice restaurant dinner in the company of his parents, Jón Axel and Sigga. 

My younger son, Kári, is attending the Jaszowiec 2024 in Szczyrk, Poland, an annual International School and Conference on the Physics of Semiconductors. He sent us this photo taken by a colleague, where he is standing by a poster he was presenting at the conference. 
"Jaszowiec" International School and Conference on the Physics of Semiconductors is an annual meeting gathering international semiconductor physics community in Poland. Its 52nd edition is organized in Szczyrk from 15 to 21 June, 2024."
  
I know next to nothing about physics but I'm always a proud mother when my boys are doing well and having fun doing their work :)
