Altocumulus

If you were up and about at 6am this morning in Northampton, you would have been treated to this interesting altocumulus cloud formation against a beautiful blue sky. If you didn't rise until 7am, you would have missed it as the usual grey curtains of cloud obscured the skies. Now, just into the afternoon, there's drizzle on the wind. Fingers are crossed for kinder weather at Wimbledon tennis, which has started today.
