Aston Clinton Ragpits
We drove over to Aston Clinton Ragpits late in the afternoon for a lovely walk around the guided path to keep you away from the amazing profusion of eight species of orchid and other wild flowers, as well as the breeding ground for 25 different types of butterfly, all within three hectares.
The site was once an old chalk pit, worked for its valued chalk freestone or "rag" that was used for local building
The blips aren't great, but I hope give an idea of what a wonderful place it is!
