A different dog beach

Hurray for a few hours of shade and sea breezes. Between the Port of Pollensa and Alcudia there is a strip of gravel beach, with pines for shade and nice people with their dogs. They can’t run the same as in Cala Carnatge, and there is a road nearby, but it’s peaceful. I forgot my sea shoes, the wind was skitting the wind and kite surfers around, so Scoobs had more of a swim than I did. I read a little and watched a tern try its luck at the fishing patch it shared with a cormorant. The latter came in for a rest and a hello. I’ll carry these few hours during the week ahead.
