Along the Towpath

Walking along a towpath is so interesting especially when they cut through cities, towns and villages. From our hotel we had walked as far as Salts Mill on Friday, yesterday was too wet to do it again but this morning it was perfect weather for a stroll in the other direction.

I have been doing a lot more walking over the weekend than my knee was willing to do but we did get to a boatyard I wanted to see. The main Blip is looking at it through the bridge.

Afterwards we visited Fountains Abbey near Ripon. The hill down then back up to the abbey was a challenge...
