The One Hundred Years of Lenni and Margot

Wow, this book was great. I read it in three sittings and had I not had work to get to, I would have happily sat and read it for an entire day.

It follows the story of 17 year-old Lenni and 83 year-old Margot...hence the 100 years mentioned in the book title.

Their friendship begins in hospital and the author keeps us engrossed with the stories of their two lives, which are laid bare throughout the book.

This novel takes you on an emotional rollercoaster. Have some tissues on hand, that's all I'm saying.
