Tea

Tea at the Pump Room.

We had afternoon tea in Bath at the Pump Room. It was a most civilized experience. Caffeine doesn't agree with me (sadly, as I love coffee), but I made a rare exception to have this quintessentially British experience in a classic (though perhaps clichéd) setting. We had the darjeeling and Dan was given gluten free equivalents of everything. The near ubiquity of a variety of gluten free options on this trip has been far ahead of what we encounter back home (there have been a small number of places with very limited options, but nowhere we have tried has had nothing available).

We left Cardiff and arrived in Bath in the morning, so we had plenty of time to see the major sites (starting with the Roman baths). We have two nights here, but tomorrow is principally slated for a day trip.
