Yellow Loosestrife

This colourful plant is growing voraciously along the lane opposite Maison MD.   In all the years we've lived here I've never seen it like this - always a few clumps here and there.   But I have read it thrives on moisture which fits in with all the wet weather we've been having.
I believe it can be used as an effective anti-inflammatory agent as well as for treating fever, wounds, ulcers, and diarrhoea - but I think I'll pass on this.
