The Little Tree

We've been quite industrious today with a bit of a spring clean going on, yes, I know we're a bit late! It looked quite overcast this morning but the sun soon came through and it's been a lovely day. I had a yen to go down to the river foreshore but high tide was about 2 pm so I had to wait a little while until it would be possible to walk along the bank.

As I got along to the little oak tree at Red Rock I was surprised to see these blue-purple flowers at the edge of what is a pond after lots of rain or very high tides. I think it's probably sea lavender(Limonium vulgare). It was very bright so I took 3 bracketed shots, 1 stop apart and merged them in Lightroom to get my blip
