CORNWALL DAY 5

Another day in paradise and another glorious day.

We met our friends from the weekend early this morning at Newquay airport where P kindly took Mr. T for a flight in his plane. L and I went back to the Farmhouse for a coffee and then I took her down the footpath to view this lovely place. Then we met up with the pilots for lunch at a pub at West Pentire overlooking another lovely beach and stretch of coast. T recounted his piloting skills of flying down to Lands End and back and was in great spirits!! Back to the Farmhouse for more coffee and chat after which our friends went home to get on with jobs and we put our feet up for a couple of hours.

In the early evening we took the coast road to Padstow where we spent a few hours just soaking up the atmosphere; loved the flowers clinging to the harbour wall here and listening to Breezy the original Padstow busker here playing his guitar and singing good old Cornish songs.
