Lisa's life...

Saturday Night

Backblip.

Saturday did not go to plan at all but at least this family gave me a smile near the chippy!

I've been getting more of the shooting nerve pains but put it down to being on my feet doing longer hours at work this week.

However as I was getting ready to go to my parents to help in their garden, my left foot went weirdly numb...the only way I can think to describe it is when you've been to the dentist and the injection makes your face and lips feel massive...like that...couldn't even feel the bottom of my foot enough to dare and put it on the floor :(

This happened 2 or 3 times during the day for 20 minutes - half an hour each time and I daren't even go out to wash Minnie for our Sunday scheduled Mini meet.

In the evening we went to the chippy and a quick dash to get some picnic food & drink - the ducks were in the shortcut between supermarket & high street - could've got away with limping as it was all paved but I tend to use my walking stick out of doors as it actually makes me less self conscious than dragging my foot when it's tired! Good job I had it, when I tried to get out of F's car, my ankle seemed to turn itself as I went to put weight through it and I had to hobble the short way to the front door.

No idea why it's playing up so suddenly; I don't remember hurting it while doing the little bit of our garden on Friday afternoon.

I know the GP surgery will probably insist they cant help as I'm still "under the care" of the Addenbrookes trauma clinic but both Mum & F think it worth mentioning.
