Dead Crow Comedy Room

Rubbish photo but a fun evening. Comedy shows are not something we do often. Jon loves to laugh and it’s a wonderful thing. His funny bone is more easily tickled than my serious Capricorn one but I’ve been wanting to check out the Wilmington night scene. It’s small and friendly and in late June very warm but steeped in history (not all of it good) and surrounded by water. So when I read that one of Saturday Night Live up and coming was going to be here, for an early show for $20, well hey, an opportunity. The venue was bare bones but eclectic. There was a bar/garden room attached and they served non-alcoholic drinks as well as the usual. Well, the comics (2 warm ups before the headliner) were all very good, reasonably “clean” and genuinely funny. It’s always good to laugh.
