cool distance on a hot day

Hotter than ever, with hardly a breeze..

We decided to give ourselves a day off today and to take it easy, as things are about to get very busy. I even took a nap during the afternoon.

This evening we went back to Toe Head beach where this time I did go right in and had a proper swim. It felt so good. The water is calm as can be, and so quiet.
This is the view from the top of the beach. You can see The Stags, and Spain Tower, and in the far distance is Cape Clear island. If you go large you can see Fastnet lighthouse, a smudge on the horizon in the left of the shot.
This is my favourite view, I never tire of it.
