A Tea Towel kinda day

I can highly recommend Radical Tea Towels (who are responsible for the Larry the Cat tea towel here, and we got a couple other Suffragette themed towels - they do some great, historical, social justice type stuff).

That happened to arrive the same day as a couple of testers, seeing what my drawing look like on tea towels. Mel isn't really fussed by some of my art (she's not a cartoon fan, and the pen and ink work isn't really her thing), but she likes the pastel birds, and has been encouraging me to do a little more with them.

The Little Brown Bird Project (which the Dunnock sketch blipped a few days ago is part of) is a longer running thing I've got in mind (basically there's a book idea I'm researching, writing and illustrating), but cards, tea towels, coasters and so on could soon be adorned by various bits of my aviary, and I'm going to have a word with the local farm shop a couple of miles up the road.

Who knows.
