The Seaside

Oh I do like to be beside the seaside - so caught CHA coach to Morecambe to walk nine miles to Silverdale - much of the route on Lancashire Coastal Way - would have preferred better weather - walked over salt marshes - and didn’t stray onto the sand where 20 years ago cockle pickers lost their lives - did pass a tribute to them - forded streams - good job I’d packed full waterproof clothing - an exhilarating walk in good company
