After the Rain

If I’ve got the ID right, this is Creeping Thistle, or Cirsium arvense.
Thanks to Miranda for hosting the wildflower week challenge, I’m always on the lookout for good examples. In extras is the contender for tonight’s blip - Feverfew or Tanacetum parthenium.

It has been much cooler today, then later this afternoon we had a heavy-ish batch of rain which has freshened up the garden nicely.

We had intended to pop out on a ‘get to know your route run’ for Callum at some point today, but it was a late night for him last night (socialising with Scottish flavoured water with his mate over the road), so that will be done tomorrow instead ;-)
