Finish

I was very happy to reach the finish at Parkrun* this morning.

Not one of my better outings. 

I got my Blip before the start while everyone else was paying attention to the race director's briefing. The balloons are a sign of the party atmosphere - one of the runners did his 500th. He has the physique of a matchstick...

Cakes, biscuits and chocolates were on offer after the run... cold water was all I wanted. 

The Extra is my "dinner"... more evidence of Official Summer Soup Season. A gazpacho this time. Delicious, and I have plenty left for tomorrow.
