Ben Klibreck

We drove up to Sutherland this morning to do some walking. Its about 5 hours to get up to the North coast (we are staying in Tongue) and on the way we stopped north of Altnaharra to climb the munro Ben Klibreck . Its a big hill but can easily be climbed in a longish half day so we set off about midday after leaving Aberdeen at 7am. We'd a dry start and some views from the top but the weather deteriorated and we finished in mist and drizzle. It took a bit longer than anticipated as one of my chums as a sore hip --- we're all getting a bit older. I was last up here in 2011.
