Another parkrun day

With Edinburgh parkrun at Cramond cancelled again, we headed back to Holyrood for our weekly fix. A bright and breezy day, but the wind wasn’t really too bad. The first couple of kilometres up the hill seem to go on for ever and then I suffered the rookie error of a shoelace coming undone, so had to stop and tie them up again. I haven’t had that happen for years - think it was the rush to get out of the house this morning that caused me to forget my usual double knot. From that point, the run was fortunately downhill, so I obviously made up time and - lo and behold! - I finished in my best time in the six parkruns I’ve done at Holyrood!
