Rural Aberdeenshire

I spent the day walking in Donside with the Mintlaw Walkers. We started off at Tarland, taking in the beautiful house at Douneside with its lovely gardens then working our way around the hill at the back of the house which provided some cracking views of rural Aberdeenshire. I found it difficult to pick a shot to blip tonight but went for this one despite the power lines as it captured the day, the light on the fields despite the misty morning, and the quietness of it all. I haven't been out with the group for a few months, with one thing and another, and it was good to be back. As it was the annual summer outing the day ended with a traditional high tea at the Alford Bistro. Yummy!
