Advance Warning

It's the annual Charter Fair in Northleach. As billed it was a short procession, but there was a band (1st extra) and Morris dancers (2nd extra). The whole thing was led by Mother Alycia (3rd extra).

We'd got to the starting point for the procession early and I sussed out the best spot for photos. Just as it started and I was about to take my first shot a woman stood immediately in front of me and held up her phone to take her photos. I had to move.

The main event on the playing fields was really busy. Before watching the dancing we had some excellent fish and chips, after the dancing we had ice creams.

We will pop back this evening with chairs and listen to some of the music.

We also had a look at an exhibition in the primary school which was celebrating its150th anniversary. We spotted a school photo with daughter#2 in it. She went there for just half a term in 1997, having been demoted from middle school in Bromsgrove when we moved to Northleach.
