Musing of a Lady

Utrecht

What a lovely, but long day. My parents had visitors for breakfast and shortly after they arrived, I took Little Man to Utrecht, by bus (Little Man loves going on buses). We just did a bit of wondering and exploring, as well as a lot of watching of trains and buses. There is an overpass, that spans across the platforms, with a glass fence. So we could watch the trains coming and going.

My parents joined us when their friends had left. My dad looked after Little Man whilst mum and I went into Primark. I wanted to get a few pairs of trousers and a dressing gown (for our time in England), but didn't want to attempt to navigate the tight, over packed isles of Primark on a Saturday afternoon with a toddler who would think its a lot of fun to pull the clothes off the racks. We then walked through part of Utrecht city centre before my parents took Little Man home. I stayed on a bit to get some cards and small gifts, before heading back to the train station. The bus stop is directly underneath the station, on the opposite side the mall where Primark is. I'm on the bus home now.

It's been a hot day, but definitely cooler than earlier this week, so hopefully the upstairs won't be too hot as I've got to start packing for our trip to England tonight. If you'd like to follow our adventures, check out my PolarSteps Page.
