Evening primrose

I’m glad that l took a few photos from the allotment first thing as we were very busy. We packed and headed onto the motorway via a diversion as there must have been a delay only to find ourselves stuck in another one. Our journey which is normally just over 2 hours took 6 hours. I never quite realised just how much the air smells of burnt oil and rubber when you are driving at 6mph in between two lanes of traffic.

Anyway we made our destination and were greeted by our oldest grandson running out to us. The youngest was also pretty pleased to see us as well. Great to see them and we enjoyed relaxing meal and early bed.
