Growing up
A train journey down to Newcastle under uniformly grey skies - it wasn't that warm either. I had some fairly routine stuff to attend to, although raggedrascal seemed to be having a torrid time of it, having to deal with a series of knotty problems and The System at the same time. I decided not to take a photo either of him gurning under his headset or of the lugubrious looking grey horse standing in the vacant lot under the grey clouds, so by the time I got back to Edinburgh the only photo I had was an out-of-focus shot of herself.
Luckily the sun was shining brightly by the time I got back to Leith and as I got off the bus I noticed a few of my wee pals, basking on their favourite plank. The patterns in the water were a bonus.
