Shadow Play

We're been having lovely weather this June, and green is the dominant color everywhere.

I took this photo from our deck. Our lot slopes down, so the deck is part of the second story of our house. Just beyond the fence are wild blackberry bushes. The large horizontal bush in front of the fence is a lilac, which grew from a slip brought from my grandmother's childhood home in southwest Virginia. 

I'm grateful for the many places I get to see through your journals, and apologize for not blipping often.
