Hooded Oriole

Back blip posted Friday for Thursday.

Hooded orioles eat bugs (mostly) but love fruit and hummingbird nectar. From April to October, they migrate from Mexico to breed, found across a swath of Arizona and the California coast. They are also very acrobatic and can be seen hanging upside down to find its food. The light was terrible for this photo so please excuse the icky clouds.

I joined a group for lunch celebrating two June birthdays. My dear friend Yolanda turned 99 years young. She has slowed down a bit but she's still sharp as a tack. I received a phone call from a doctor's office in the middle of lunch (see the next blip.)  I don't like to be interrupted when I have food in my mouth.  :-)

I love bacon.
Sometimes I eat it twice a day.
It helps take my mind off the terrible chest pains I keep getting.
