The beach this afternoon.

We did a few jobs this morning; I adjusted a couple of shelves and prepared and varnished two windowsills. My wife did some weeding and things in garden.

We went to the beach after lunch. A low tide, plenty of space, and few folks. A strong westerly wind was blowing at the West Sands. Quite unseasonal.

Back in town we returned to the locksmith to get adjustments made to the keys they cut yesterday. They’re better …..but still not right; we’ll try again next week.

Family funeral details were confirmed; it’ll mean we’ll be babysitting our grandson and wee dog next Thursday and Friday.
