Sunset on the Loire

Another day of relaxing by the Loire!
Quite a lot cooler today, but it meant we could sleep longer.

After a lovely dinner at a local restaurant- for me it was Gazpacho for starters, followed by Pig’s cheeks and finished off with a variety of local French cheeses accompanied by a local red wine.

After dinner I went for a walk along the Loire to try to catch a glimpse of the lovely sunset I could see between the trees.

Not the best sunset picture, because there were so many trees in the way, but I wanted to show just how high the water level is - with the trees submerged and almost reaching the path I was on!
