Cistus

I love the cistus (rock rose) flowers. So short-lasting but lovely. Extra is of the squirrel, very early this morning. It or another one was there a couple of hours later looking for more monkey nuts.
Having gone to be very late ie about 1:40am I did not expect to wake at 6am - grrrr! Spent ages awake but eventually dozed off for a bit longer.
The lid on the food recycling container was smashed to bits when terry brought it in and it looked to me like it had been run over. sure enough, the guy next door had driven onto it in his van and taken it along the street on his wheel. I've ordered another!
We went shopping.
The weather has been mixed with rain and sunshine.
My son John phoned and we had a good, long chat. 
NHS referral rand me again and it's for my ENT appointment regarding the severe nose bleeds. Earliest appointment from a number of different hospitals is for Sep 26th.
The (new item) prescription that the Clinician said she had sent to Tesco pharmacy last Friday had still not materialised and Tesco said it could not have been sent. I rang the GP surgery to say I have not received it. 
My repeat medications were ready to collect when I asked but for one item, the diltiazem, which was not in stock and they were waiting for it. I informed them that I only had one capsule left for (tonight) and the pharmacist said it would not matter if I miss one. I was not too pleased about that attitude since the dose I am on (twice daily) is not enough to achiever the desired BP or pulse rate and should be increased. "Oh," said the pharmacist. They texted later today to say it's now ready for collection but we couldn't go back this evening so we'll get it in the morning.
