Bobbing along…..

Back to Embra this afternoon, first for a visit to my uncle whose heart is playing up, but he seemed in reasonable spirits, and then to South Queensferry for an evening with the Explorer Scouts at the water sports centre. With the gusty wind dropping as the night wore on it turned into a lovely evening.

Earlier, our new neighbour Charles popped in to introduce himself. Conversation was light hearted and safe and only once was in danger of straying into darker waters when he mentioned the general election. I steered him off the subject as quickly as I could.

Looking forward to getting home where a cold hoppy ale awaits.
