Wasp for Lunch!

What a strange topsy turvy sort of day! Had to change my first appointment and then dash out to a farm. What a pleasure, Housemartins and Swallows everywhere, in and out of nests all dotted about under the farmhouse eaves, but they were so fast my photo's were not the best! The Wagtail on the other hand was just hanging about on the roof showing off what he had caught!

Dropped off up a track and told what direction to take and before us unfolded the most beautiful walk that we didn't know existed. Suddenly remembered my first appointment that I had changed was due and I was nowhere near home. No phone signal so no way of alerting anyone about my delay.

We jogged along the path to get back to the car that had been previously abandoned, not sure where we were going but made it - the directions given were good and we thought we were going to make it near enough on time. We were then diverted by police over towards the Bonawe loop which was going to add even more time to reaching my appointment and on top of that every possible slow vehicle was either reversing out on to the road, coming towards us or in front of us! Finally made it, dropped off with a phone so that I could be picked up.

Came out to scorching sun, had not had time for lunch and the phone was telling me there was an error to connection when I tried to contact my husband! No option but to set off walking/ jogging again to get home only to find that the phones in the whole area were out of order!!

So a strange but interesting day!
