Lavender

The lavender bush is blooming and I saw a few bees buzzing around today.  It has been hot and humid again and I have managed another half hour in the garden, trying to fix the water butt in case it does rain soon!
Last night the camera club went to a local reservoir, with the gorgeous granddaughter in tow to be our model. See extra. She did so well and said she loved it.  It did get a tad cold but there were jackets on offer between set ups!  We plan to take her out for a couple more evenings for some portrait shooting practice.
