Golden Shores

After a (free) bus into Edinburgh, a (free) megabus to Aberdeen, then the ferry, it was grand to see the golden shores of the Orkney Isles coming into view. And even better to see Rhona who was there to pick me up and drive me up to Burray.

I’d traveled as far as Aberdeen with Osh, which was great, but we said our farewells in Aberdeen as they headed down on the train to Inverurie to meet up with Ruby and Kelda and I hopped aboard the ferry to Kirkwall.
