Matariki Morning

A stunning sunrise from our window to welcome a special day in the NZ Calendar - Matariki. It’s only the 3rd year it has been celebrated as a public holiday . It marks the rising of the Matariki star cluster (also known as Pleiades) and is the new year in the Māori lunar calendar.
Many series and events were held around the country to celebrate.
