Last Chance to See...?

We noticed on our journey into Inverurie this morning that while we've been away, Aberdeenshire Council have been putting up new posts for all the road signs around Blairdaff - including this 1960's style direction sign in the fork of the roads at Grantlodge.

Fortunately we were back just in time for me to record this historic feature in situ before it is (presumably) replaced with a 21st century version. (I also managed a few close-ups without the new shiny post being visible.)

Is there any chance this old sign might find its way into a local museum?
