Another joyful day

Up before the lark once again, I am keeping up with my chores including hand washing my clothes on a regular basis to keep everything clean and simple. This morning I decided to do the coastal walk which had eluded me the previous day. After several hours of walking I ended up on Appledore quay and spontaneity popped up to entice me into joining a small group on a fishing trip in the bay. What a fun experience it was, banter and laughter was present for the whole 4 hours plus.
We caught plenty of fish and one of them after being cleaned and jointed, joined me on the way back to the car in my rucksack .
I Popped in briefly to investigate what my cousins had filled the storage container with, there’s some obvious things missing (a racing bike) and some of auntie’s furniture in there. Confirming auntie’s statement that they are all out of touch.
A few basic items shopped for before returning briefly to collect cycling gear and off to the local cycling club for a foray into racing. A 10 mile time trial was held in good spirits for a send off for one of the club stalwarts.
I managed to get under 30 minutes and was very pleased to have committed myself to the goal of getting to the finish line in a TT
Celebrations continued for quite a while before I drove home for shower and bed.
