Produce

My cold frames have been a success!
The lettuce has grown very well, these are Little Gem and very tasty compared with shop stuff, I think because they are slow grown. I’ve also grown lettuce Mint Crisp which is a Cos type, and mixed leaves are very easy and slug resistant.
The radishes keep coming, and I have just started pulling the turnips.
The tricky thing has been spinach and chard.
The seeds are not germinating well, particularly in one of the cold frames. I have picked some though.
There are carrots and beets coming, but not ready yet, and I have some Cavolo Nero growing but I’m not sure Rob will eat that!
I am just starting some dwarf beans but again I am struggling to get them germinated and I really don’t know why.
So far a good result!
