Welcome to Heatongrad

Overnight trip to Cardiff to see Paul Heaton play the castle. He was fabulous as always. Somehow I managed to be at the front of the queue to get in despite only getting there 45mins before gates opened and was at the front in the barriers bang in the middle of the stage. Stood next to a guy and his daughter, who kept my space while I went to get some merchandise. Then we found out he was at the same high school as my husband but three tears above him! He didn't remember Jim but did remember his sister who is two years older than Jim. Small small world. He had travelled from Warrington, I had from Hitchin, to Cardiff and ended up next to each other!

Cast were supporting. I used to love them in the 90's but never saw them live. They were excellent too. Although when they came on I did think "Blimey they have got old!" Then remembered we all have and the 90's are now thirty old years ago, even if it feels like ten at most.
