Sad news for Gaza today.
A's nephew Basel got killed.
K tells  that in Gaza right now nobody is living in anything that would be remarkably close to describing living conditions. It's pure survival by the hour, by the day, by the week. There is no words to describe the depth of the destruction of the society in the Gaza Strip.  Words like "wiped out" or "pulverised" or "destruction beyond imagination" are really as close as it's gets to describing what is happening right now. Numbers do not express the depth and level of the trauma, the grief and the loss embraced by people currently right now in Gaza. There is a suspended and motionless numbness on a daily basis, people are exhausted. They are immobilised by fear. They are facing tremors, breakdowns and panic attacks and this includes children, adults, men,  women, boys and girls and the elderly.  There is no way to understand or even know what the potential emotional impact of this war will be on this entire community and society.
