Swinging

All the family accompanied Euan to Nursery this morning then his Mum and Dad left for a few days around a family wedding.  Once we had seen them off, I drew up a shopping list and we went first for cuppas and pastries before getting the shopping.

After lunch we walked to collect Euan and spent two hours in a nearby playground with him swinging, sliding, roundabouting, scaling and zipping.  As a rest he set Grandad and Granny running circuits of the playground whilst he timed us (!) then he cycled a few circuits on the adjacent big field before we turned for home.

Tony occupied him with a Lego model whilst I prepared dinner, and a game of Dobble went down well too.  It's very warm here so I think we did well to have bath, story and Euan asleep by 8.20.
