Before And After

Today we had the new loft hatch fitted by a customer from work so I decided to blip a before and after shot. As you can see the old loft hatch was rather small and I only just managed to get through the gap after balancing on some steps and pulling myself up , the new one is a lot bigger and has a loft ladder fitted to it which pulls down. Still some work to be done sorting out the edges and putting some frame work round it to tidy it up.
It was a rather messy job due to there been a hundred plus years of dust and attic debris up above the ceiling so lots of cleaning had to be done. Julie blipped it In progress  . all the hassle and mess will be worth it as we can organise the roof area out and put things into storage up there.

I was at work while most of the work was done , I did hoover  the stairs and wash down the top shelves upon my return from work this evening. I then went to visit my Mum and now home watching the T20 cricket semi final where England are getting thrashed by India , India got 171 runs England are 94 for 9 so it wont be long before they are beaten . Update all out for 103 runs
