Gert had the honour of transporting beautiful Martha (our friends daughter) and her boyfriend James to the school prom. Mike was made up being a chauffeur and got suited and booted for the occasion. We should have got him a little hat! Eva has decided she wants to ride in on Jack when it's her turn. A logistical nightmare! Ah well we've got 5 years to change her mind!! Mike said there were loads of lovely cars there and even a massive tractor! 

I managed a quick ride on Buddy. Someone was having a lesson in the school and hacking is a bit like running the gauntlet with an the tractors on the road at the moment (Buddy is terrified of tractors) so I went in the big field over the road. Couldn't believe it when I got near the top and there was a tractor in the next field making hay!! We managed to mostly avoid it and had some good fast canters up and down. 

Need to motivate myself to do some more painting tonight :0(
