Globe thistle

One year and one day from when a green-eyed flower bee arrived in our garden in 2023 we had this year's arrival. It has not landed anywhere long enough for me to get a picture but I am keeping an eye out for it. 
Today's blip is a globe thistle bud. I bought two plants this year and I am glad to see 6 buds forming. Hopefully you might see this same bud in couple of weeks with the green-eyed flower bee on it!!
