I had a call with my sister today! We didn't talk for too long because her medication makes her sleepy, but I was still surprised she was able to hold a conversation! Talking to her definitely made the whole thing much more real.

I've booked my flights home for next week, so I will see her soon. Hopefully she'll be a bit more alert by then.
