Reading with Granny

Our 9 year old, like his older brother and parents, is an avid reader! After school today he read some of his latest book with great accuracy and understanding. It was a much more bearable day weather wise with a summery breeze blowing away the recent humidity. The garden, however, remains very thirsty and copious watering was undertaken by T this evening. We hope our silver birch tree survives. Its leaves are showing signs of stress.
