Mountain Icons

Neither of us slept well, though only one of us had three desserts yesterday... 
... So a slow start, but that let the clouds lift and we got the best weather of the trip so far. 
A ride on the Montenvres Train and down the new (they are literally still painting and doing joinery) gondola to the ice cave. Spectacular engineering feat, but one of the things I've always found most exceptional was the date plaques as you descended the stairs, an unbelievable demonstration of how fast we are losing the glaciers.
Oh. More ice cream.
